What happens to your answers.
This notice covers the Good Reasons V0 experiment operated by JMK Solutions OG, Josef Preisegger-Gasse 15, 3130 Herzogenburg, Austria. Contact: tobias.madlberger@jmk-solutions.at.
What I collect
Your first name, age, email address, rough Vienna area or nearby station, maximum travel time, your 12 answers, preferred attendance mode and acceptance of the privacy and conduct rules. Gender information is voluntary and only needed if you ask for at least one other participant of your gender. For a +1, I store their name, age, email and separate acceptances; the buddy enters those details themselves via their personal link. Visiting the site also produces technical server logs containing your IP address, the time and the page requested.
Why I collect it
I use the information to check whether a small group, venue and time could plausibly suit you, and to email you a specific invitation. The legal basis is your consent. Matching and group selection are reviewed by a person. Some answers allow inferences — asking for a step-free venue may suggest a mobility limitation, for instance; I use such details solely to choose the venue and the group. Everything is voluntary, but without it I cannot invite you.
What other participants see
Before deciding, others may see your first name and age alongside the same plan. They do not see your email, rough area, phone number, social accounts or questionnaire answers.
Who processes it
JMK Solutions OG is the controller. The website and database are hosted by Fly.io, Inc. on a machine and volume in Frankfurt. Fly.io is a US provider and offers a DPA with EU Standard Contractual Clauses for processing and international transfers. Cloudflare is currently used for DNS; form data is not intentionally routed through Cloudflare. There is currently no external email delivery provider.
Cookies and tracking
Good Reasons sets no cookies, uses no local storage and loads no analytics or tracking services, no external fonts and no social media scripts. That is why there is no cookie banner here. The only data you leave behind is what you type into the form yourself, plus the server logs mentioned above.
How long it stays
Your application is deleted no later than six months after your most recent application or attendance, unless a longer legal retention period applies. Server logs are kept for considerably less time. You can ask for deletion sooner at any point.
Your choices
You can withdraw consent or request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability by emailing Tobias. You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
No invitation is automatic. If no suitable group forms, your answers stay private and nobody else gets to see them.
